His father, Rust (also Heat's father) was a quiet Mudwing in the Talons of Peace, where he meet Heat's mother, Datura; a loud and headstrong Sandwing. It did not work out, so she left him. Heat and Steam's father ended up meeting a calm and patient Skywing named Londonite, who is also in the Talons of Peace; and truly feel in love with her.

Personality: Steam is Heat's younger brother and is always looking up to him. He is always trying to show off to his older brother and his friends; and he doesn't take safety into thought when doing so.
